Thanks for tuning in to Beauty Tip By Leeanne. Today I’m going to be reviewing a great product for the winter weather. It’s called Aquaphor Healing Ointment and it can be used for a number of medicinal purposes. It’s great if you have eczema, if you have dry cracked lips, or if you had any sort of a chemical peel or laser peel, this product can be used for that as well. What I love about this product is that it’s simple to use and is non-comedogenic. You is that you can use it many many times over and over as you need it. It’s perfect for people in the winter who ski, in windy areas where they have had a windburn, or sunburn as well. It’s a very common very soothing product.
Just apply a small amount on your finger and apply to the lips . This works great as a substitute for Chap-stick. (this works great for children) . This product can be used a thousand times a day. It’s petroleum-based product and the difference between using this on your lips vs. Chap-stick, or some sort of lip balm , is those products have wax in them. So, as you continue to lick your lips they continue to dry your lips. Those products don’t like like Aquaphor. If you have dry cracked hands it’s great to put this on it bedtime and also great to put it on in the morning. It is a little bit greasy but if you wash your hands throughout the day the product actually stays on. You can use it on minor cuts, burns, and scrapes. It is a great post fraxel, post CO2 laser, or if you do a deep chemical peel like TCA or jasmer’s, this can be applied to help expedite the healing process. I hope this is a great tip for you.
